Teeth are not making us happy!

I've been up all night with Jules. She just won't stop crying :( I'm hoping this teeth thing comes to an end soon but knowing my luck as soon as Jules is finished is when Maddie's will kick it.

Everyday at Trelise's day care a comment is entered into her notebook on how she has been. On Tuesday her comment was "What a firecracker!, She has no problem keeping up with the boys ....." It's really been bothering me for the past few days. Yes she is a really active kid but what's wrong with keeping up with the boys. I believe that the comment wasn't really meant to be negative but it's annoyed me. Am I being to sensitive?

I don't think it is negative. There is a girl in my son's class that plays with my son and two other boys all the time. It is the 4 of them. She is the only girl in their little group. I think it is cute and fun for girls to be good buddies with the boys.

As for the teeth... have you tried some Tylenol at bedtime?

I vote for it's an uber compliment. I was the kid who 'kept up with the boys', and believe me there were plenty of girls who did NOT.

Oh the screaming!!! Yep tried the pain relief only seems to work for about 4 hours and then the screaming starts again.

I don't think it's bad at all. I totally hope my girls will be like that!

I actually agree. I think the note seems like she was admiring that quality in your sweetie. It's not a bad thing to be a fire cracker keeping up with the boys (at all).

I hope the teething gets better and you get some sleep!

I started scratching just reading this........we've been lucky enough to avoid this thus far, but I'm not holding my breath! :) OOPS......I'm commenting on the wrong post.....but, you know what I'm referring to! :)

No fun on the teeth front...sorry.

There is nothing wrong with keeping up with the boys. I might be sensitive to that comment too. I think it's great she is comfy with girlie activities and male centered ones as well.
