Paraparaumu verus Wellington

I've woken up this morning and feel like I've been hit by a truck! I know my posting has been erratic and it's because we have so much going on here and trying to decide where the future of our family is.

We have decided that Paraparaumu is a better place for us to be than Wellington central. More space and family friendly houses. It's probably only 15 - 20 mins more for Wayne to communte than he's doing now.

We headed up on Saturday to look at houses for sale. I still love the dream house however there is a few issues with it - mainly someone else already has an offer on the property. The offer has a long lead time so it could fall through if they are unable to raise the money. It does however have a few finishing issues, two of the bedrooms are marginal on size for us, and there are a few questions about a few structural issues. So we have decided to wait and see what happens and go from there if the current offer falls through.

We saw alot of other houses and while none of these are quite right I'm confident that one will come up that is just perfect for us. We are debating at the moment on moving up and renting a property just to make sure that Kapiti is the right place for us. We would be renting our home so it would only be a short time until we moved back if it wasn't the right decision.

So I think that all the stress and emotional turmoil has caught up with us (well me at least!)

I know this can be stressful, but it is very exciting to be looking for/buying a new home - I am so jealous! Have fun and don't stress too much - take care - Kellan

Oh, house hunting! Its definitely stressful. My husband and I still can't figure out what to do: stay here or move to the suburbs. So, I know what you must be going through. I hope you find the perfect house!

I hear you. All the stress I've been experiencing lately has been directly related to buying/selling property and knowing what the right place is for our family. Good luck with the hunt. :)
