Any guesses?
I was excited to see this picture that Trelise had drawn the other day at creche.
Why? Because instead of just scribbling she has drawn circles!
Now any guesses to what it is? I'm going to offer a really, really big prize to anyone that gets it right!!!

Smelly Bottom Bum Bum
Miss Trelise is firmly into a bottom phase. Not much is said at the moment without some reference to her nether regions and breasts are always a popular topic. I am thankful so far that I'm neglectful as a mother and haven't taught her the correct terminology as I'm thinking that would have just added flames to the fire and pretty much stop me from leaving the house.
This morning Wayne said goodbye to this sweet face to be told "Bye Smelly Bottom Bum Bum" He laughed (as you do) so I'm sure that the nickname has a good chance of sticking around for a while!

And we are rented!
Paraparaumu here we come!
The people we thought were going to sign up decided to think about it over night. Sadly for them anyway we had a late couple ring and come through tonight and fall in love with our place.
Yay!!

At Last Ready to Rent!

Finally we are finished getting our house ready to rent. It went up on Trademe last night and within 2 hours we had someone wanting to move in - hopefully we will be meeting them tonight and finalising everything.
Here's our new kitchen - white and shiny and will be all mine for only another couple of weeks! It's pretty much all new however we did reuse a couple of the old cabinets and just replaced the doors. The walls used to be yellow and now are a neutral quarter sisal.
Here is our lounge - it's been painted (used to be blue) and decluttered and the carpet has been cleaned. The tv is now off the wall so it looks huge but we didn't want to give people the impression that they could put their tv's up. They probably will anyway!
Another view in the lounge so you can see the open plan kitchen living area.
This is the view from our lounge - if you enlarge it you can see the lion's enclosure of the zoo. It's a little hard to point out as they weren't out and about when I took this picture - but there is a patch of grass with a high fence around it in the middle of the picture above the houses below us.
Here is our updated bathroom - it's been painted white and we have added heaps of storage and a new bathroom cabinet. Incidentally the babies love it. I made the mistake of leaving them in the bathroom while I was filling the bath - in the 30 seconds I was away many items including Wayne's electric razor made it into the bath!
Our room - nothing changed in here
Another view of our room
Miss Trelise's pad. It's been de-pinked and very much decluttered (we now have a garage full of toys!). It has new carpet and the walls used to have two big pink stripes which I've painted out. She used to also have pink sheer curtains which we have taken down.
Other view of Trelise's room
Madeleine and Juliette's lair. Not much has changed in here apart from removing the change table in the corner. We used to have a few more decorations up on the wall.
Now for some outside shots
Our back garden - probably our main reason for moving. It's quite large but just not easily accessible from the main house.
and a couple of other pictures showing our access. Important in Wellington as some people really live up mountain tracks!
and finally (just really for completeness really) our garage!
Looking back at the pictures it really doesn't show how much work we have done! It's been a hard month and we will be so glad when it's all rented and we can set about with the next stage of packing and getting ourselves together to move.

Happy Halloween

Trelise looks a little down - she's not just frustrated with Maddie and Jules who just won't stand still and look at the camera!
This is Maddies scary face
We have a lovely neighborhood here and every year we do a Halloween street get together. Neighbors that wish to have trick or treaters put signs on there letterbox and on mass the children in the street go around the houses and at the end we have a picnic in the park at the end of our street.
I'm glad I have such shy girls that never leave my side! This is Jules making a break for it!
Following on from the Tunnel of Terror and the Garage of Doom this year Wayne made Mayhem Mountain. Its the structure behind the girls in the picture below. He's very proud of scaring the pants off one boy who rushed in thinking that no one was in it to have Wayne jump out at him! Mayhem Mountain came complete with scary music, dry ice and decorations.
